1. What's New?
We have made some significant changes to PhoneFloater since our initial release. Among these are :
• Voice messaging (support for a single voice messaging system)
• Phone Books for storing names and phone numbers internally
• Speech Recognition for everything (including PhoneBook entries!)
• Improved Call Log features and feedback
We have also made every attempt to correct any reported problems with PhoneFloater 1.0 in this release. If you find a problem, or are having any troubles at all, please let us know and we will try to correct it.
2. What's In PhoneFloater 1.1?
PhoneFloater 1.1 is a very robust application which allows you to use your Macintosh as a speakerphone and telephone dialer. With it, you can place telephone calls from a variety of different applications, and from a variety of different sources, including PowerTalk business cards. You can also keep track of all calls placed with your Macintosh through our innovative Call Log mechanism, and even redial numbers from that log. Below is a list of features available in PhoneFloater 1.1.
• Full-Duplex speakerphone

• Speed dial list for easy access to recently dialed numbers
• Internal PhoneBook database for frequently used numbers

3. Requirements for operation
PhoneFloater has modest requirements for normal operation. For basic functionality, you must have the following hardware/software on your Macintosh :
• AV or Power Macintosh system with a GeoPort Telecom adapter
• PlainTalk™ or Jabra™ microphone
• 8 MB RAM (minimum 768k free for application)
• Apple Telecom 2.0 or later software
• System 7.5 or later Operating System software
• Macintosh Drag & Drop v1.1 (comes with System 7.5)
• Espy Sans and Espy Sans Bold fonts
For extended features, such as dialing from PowerTalk business cards or speech, you should have :
• 16 MB RAM (required for Speech Recognition and PowerTalk)
• Speech Recognition 1.5 or later software (previously called PlainTalk™)
• PowerTalk 1.1 installed and enabled

BijouPlay 2.5
BijouPlay 2.5 is the latest version of the acclaimed QuickTime movie player for Macintosh. BijouPlay is the smallest, coolest, fully featured QuickTime player available. Support for new QuickTime 2.5 media types is included in BijouPlay, as well as full support for Musical Instruments editing and playback. System 7.5 features include Drag & Drop, Thread Manager, and AppleScript. BijouPlay is currently the only QuickTime player application that is fully scriptable and recordable, using our Multimedia Apple Event suite, developed in cooperation with other multimedia developers on the Internet.
Version 2.0.3 is available now, version 2.5 will be available late Spring 1996.
InterMail 1.0
This application is a free Internet mail solution for PowerTalk users on the Internet. It includes a PowerTalk mail enabled application with advanced features, and a PowerTalk PMSAM which allows you to send and receive mail through your Universal mailbox.

TeleNavigator 1.0
TeleNavigator is a suite of tools designed to help you communicate more efficiently using your Macintosh. Based around PowerTalk catalogs and GeoPort 2.0 software, it includes tools for electronic mail, data communications, full-duplex speakerphone, telephone answering, and video conferencing. All these tools are available under one consistent interface, with the ability to speak most commands rather than type or use the mouse, you have the most powerful communications suite available!
